Ebony Adams, Mastered Level Social Worker, brings over seven years of social service experience with the desire and heart to genuinely care for and meet the needs of the people. She is very aware and clinically focused to address the needs of the mental health population, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Ebony Adams received her Bachelor in Sociology from Alabama State University in 2009 and her Master of Social Work from Cleveland State University in 2013. Her professional experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults, in Mental Health in a variety of settings such as the home, school, and community. Ebony has assisted individuals with becoming more aware of their Mental Illness and how to cope and address it. Ebony has also assisted relatives with learning how to cope with the illness of their loved one. Ebony Adams partnered with Ebony Hull to start Enduring the Course Inc., to increase understanding, reduce stigma, and expand intervention options for people experiencing mental health concerns. Ebony believes that these principles for Enduring Course Inc. are just what the community and world need to make a difference and effect change for the mental health population. |
Sonja R. Pickett
Sonja R. Pickett, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, currently resides in Central Florida. This Social Work student and loving mother of 4 has a nurturing and compassionate heart for people which is exemplified by way of mentorship, coaching, and volunteering. Sonja is best known for her quiet nature, her unassuming love and passion for God, and her unique ability to express her heart through writing. In the past, Sonja was fortunate to be selected to serve as Chapter Director in Orlando of the international non-profit organization called Wife Talk, Inc. Time spent growing in this position helped to ignite a greater desire for purpose and a more intentionally lived life. Since then, Sonja has stepped out of her comfort zone to challenge her own self-limitations in order to pursue her dreams. She is now a Certified Master Life Coach, a Certified Mental Health Advocate, and currently holds the position of Vice President of a new Non-Profit Organization, Enduring The Course, Inc (ETC., Inc)
